The Laguna campsite, located in an E1 zone, has replaced its mercury-vapour lamps with LED technology. Due to its location, the campsite required environmentally friendly luminaries and opted to install Ignialight’s PC-Ambar with LED technology.
Regardless of aLED’s colour temperature (neutral white, warm white or cool white), it has a peak emission of around 400Nm,which affects wildlife and causeslight contamination. This peak disappears with PC-Amber LED technology, thus making it ideal for installation in areas of natural beautythat require respect for the environment and wildlifeas this LED technology has a number of advantages: savings, zero maintenance, automatic on and off, and high colour rendering index (the luminaire offers better colour perception with a high CRI of 92).
The installation of the new luminaires has resulted in energy savings of 65% for the campsite.
